Hello everyone!

My name is Jos and I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about computers or programming. I turn my computer on, I use it to read the news and do homework, and that's about it. Anyway, I read an interesting article that mentioned FCC so I tried it and was immediately hooked. While it's been a struggle because there is so much information that is new to me, I have enjoyed every second of it. Currently I am working on the portfolio challenge so wish me luck!

My academic background is in literature. Dusty old books are my thing. Also medicine. I have a bachelor's in Russian Language and Literature (plus a certificate for completing all pre-med requirements) and am currently studying to take the MCAT so I can apply to med school. Coding is my "break" from MCAT study, but I am also increasingly frustrated that there is so much information I lack. But I am working to fix that!!

Until I become a coding master, or get whisked away to medical school (fingers crossed), I look forward to being a part of this community and contributing as much as I can!
