Challenges should be numbered in sequence from start to end of Map.
Number should be clearly visible in every challenge and in Map.

I like the idea. It would make it easier to help people. It can be difficult when they ask for help on a challenge I can barely remember and I have to fish through the entire map to find it.

I actually prefer them unnumbered. When someone comes into the help room and says “I need help with challenge 133,” I’m not going to remember which one that is (whereas I do know “Stand in Line”, etc). Even if I could memorize the numbers, they would be changing pretty frequently as the curriculum grows.
