@Brandi-26 I intentionally put them in that order for this guide specifically to address exactly this - you're on the first item in the list and already looking to skip it. YDKJS is so important that I put it, in it's entirety, at the very beginning of this list so that those folks prone to skipping stuff would at least finish YDKJS as it's right there, up at the top. I'm really bad at "sugar coating" so please forgive the following bluntness - "doing my best" isn't what gets jobs, sitting down and figuring out the difficult stuff is. As long as you keep spinning around the "this is hard, someone give me some other resource that'll make it easier" cycle, you are robbing yourself both of the time you waste cycling through beginner tutorials, and of the experience gained by allowing something to be difficult, sucking it up, and learning it anyway.
Here's the post where I explained why I setup this guide differently than the others:
TLDR; - don't be looking to skip stuff, you deserve to actually learn, not only the material but also that you can learn - even the hard stuff. Stop looking for an easier way. Stop thinking that "tried really hard" is anything other than an excuse. Sit down and learn, not try to learn, learn.
